I presume the backwards compatible version of the games aren't enhanced in anyway graphically?

Some are, you would have to look up list. Like fallout 3, oblivion, red dead redemption etc got 4k upgrade. Then other games benefit from fps boost.

I was more curious about Bioshock. I know they have the collection on Xbox one, but didn't know if this had the same treatment

BioShock the Collection is $10. It's remastered so it's 4k/60fps

Does anyone know if GTA 4 is enhanced?

I figured not since Rockstar is just focused on GTA Online and wringing what they can out of GTA 5.

No you dont have to keep the subscription to play them later. Basically you get a discount on the purchase for having XBL, after that the game is yours.

Looks like HDR and frame rate are enhanced from the original.
